After some heavy working years at Codarts, I didn't have time to write and record a new album until 2011. With my great new Voices of Soul and rhythmsection and a team of technicians we produced the entire album at my studio, followed by an extensive tour in 2012 and 2013. The release party was a blast at Paradiso, Amsterdam.

This was an exciting trip in my brand new studio: should it work and could I produce a professional album. We worked very hard on the result and were very excited with the RED Bullet contract for this release.

O'BEAT was my first album which I wrote and produced myself. I had the chance by my publisher PEER MUSIC to record and mix for 5 weeks in the great Belgian Studio Schelle (great sound, best engineer). O'BEAT carries the inspiration of Quincy Jones in its music. Although the album did not reach the national charts, it sold so many live copies that it would reach a platinum status nowadays!

First Moves is a re-release of my graduation at the Rotterdam Conservatory in 1988 on which I got graduated with cum laude by organising the first sponsored final exam in the Netherlands and live broadcasted at Dutch national radio. The re-release was part of a three cd box with O’BEAT and Organtasy.
